It emerged earlier this month that the team at Console Variations had managed to get their hands on what they believed was an ultra-rare Nintendo Dolphin developer unit. As you most likely know the Dolphin was the code name for the GameCube before it was officially unveiled to the general public. However, it has turned out that this is a physical wooden system, which is obviously non functional. It’s not clear who owns or how Console Variations got their hands on it, nonetheless, it is disappointing news.
“We had a closer look, and UNFORTUNATELY . This console is a physical WOODEN system, which is non-functional!.. the dream has been shattered regarding firmware and dumps.. The console was made of wood with a plastic feeling/texture,”
“This is actually kind of special, we were able to take that entire front panel out, and then you’d see all the digital motherboard collections were wires had to connect, we were not allowed to photograph that.”

It will be cool if it’s functional as a wood console. Nintendo GameCube was a great console.
Blcks.
Interesting that the controller ports were originally shaped to the half circle that the controller supported rather than the final design where the area around the port was changed to circles instead.
The controller ports had enough of your shit.
They took days to realize it was a wooden box? There were wires inside a wooden box? They weren’t allowed to photograph the inside of a wooden box?
Wtf am I reading
Why does it look so annoyed? 😆😆
The logo on it is a cube like the N64 logo, but it’s a G instead of an N. Makes me wonder if they had already decided to call it GameCube, but didn’t update the text label.
Wow how did these cats fall for this one? 😆
Thank you for producing such a fascinating essay on this subject. This has sparked a lot of thought in me, and I’m looking forward to reading more.
Hello! I’ve been experimenting with new ways to improve my grades lately. I came across this checker and a connected service that provides full essay support. Being a student in a remote area, I love that their services are available in every geography of the world via the web. I used them for a science report and the level of detail was exactly what my professor was looking for. I am very satisfied with the results and the professionalism of the whole process.
