Japanese gaming site Famitsu has scored an interview with the legendary creator of the Final Fantasy franchise, Hironobu Sakaguchi. Mr. Sakaguchi talked to the publication about the decision to bring the gorgeous JRPG Fantasian to consoles including the Nintendo Switch later this year. Sakaguchi says that he is very close with Nintendo saying that “Square Enix is my hometown, but I also think of Nintendo as my hometown” and that he’s thrilled to bring Fantasian Neo Dimension to the Switch.
“By the way, Square Enix is my hometown, but I also think of Nintendo as my hometown… So, I’m extremely happy to be able to release the game on Nintendo Switch. Of course, I am also happy that it will be released on other hardware. To be honest, rather than saying ‘I hope it will be a hit’, I’m just happy to be able to release it, (laughs). I am truly happy just to be able to send my child out into the world once again.”

Based!
Aww that’s really cute and sweet :)
Hironobu Sakaguchi is a Legend and the father of Final Fantasy. Any game he releases or supports has my full attention.
Hopefully he can start putting AAA titles on the next system… Because he sure did skip the system
Still hoping for an HD remaster of The Last Story one day.
