SEGA and Lizardcube have been working closely together on a reboot of the iconic Shinobi franchise. Today, more footage from the game has leaked online, probably to the dismay of both companies. There’s over one minute of new footage to check out from the upcoming Shinobi game. The Shinobi reboot doesn’t have a release date, or even a finalised title, and it is not clear how far along the game is in development

I don’t think i’m a big fan of the hand drawn painted cell look.
For me it’s probably always going to be pixel art.
Also.. i get the feeling the music won’t be up to snuff..
I like the art direction on this.
But the game looks incredibly bland.

Shadow dancer seriously needs to make it to the open world type game.
Eh, it looks too bland, actually. Also not a huge fan of the art style. Reminds me too much of other bland titles like Hellboy and Bloodrayne.
I like this style reminds me of SOR4. Streets of Rage 4.
The art style is great. Looking forward to hearing more about this one.
