Pokemon TCG Pocket receives over 10 million downloads in first 48 hours

The Pokemon Company has confirmed that the newly released Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket surpassed an astonishing 10 million downloads worldwide in the first 48 hours of the iOS and Android game becoming available. Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket is free to play, but features micro transactions.

    1. Yes, but it looks like, not so much.

      The game is pretty much a Creatures Inc game (since it’s Pokemon cards/digital merchandise.) but the pie technically gets cut in 4 pieces, overall. The Play Store/App Store, DeNA, TPC, and Creatures inc.

      Right off the batt, the App stores make 30%. Nintendo Owns 1/3 of TPC and about 10% of DeNA. So yes Nintendo gets 1/3 of TPC piece and 10% of DeNA’s. But Creatures Inc also owns 1/3 of TPC.

      So again, Nintendo’s cut, is fairly small.
