The Game Awards has come and gone for another year. 2024 marked the show’s 10th anniversary, and data from Streams Charts has been released very recently which reveals just how much of a success the show was. According to Streams Charts, the awards show hit a peak viewer count of 4,000,000 for the first time this year.
However, that’s not all. The Game Awards 2024 managed to get 15,200,000 hours watched, as well as 3,100,000 average viewers. The former statistic is a record for the show. Streams Charts also says that a grand total of 1,498 channels streamed The Game Awards-related content, including reactions to the show itself.

Yeah, I think we mostly watch it because of the world premiere trailers, because honestly… those winners were really ridiculous.
