Compared to yesterday, things are a little more quiet with Switch 2 rumors and leaks. However, it is increasingly becoming clear that the dam is beginning to break, if it hasn’t already. The vast majority of all the rumors and leaks have been coming from accessory manufacturers, but for the first time, a major retailer may be involved with the latest rumor.
GameStop likes to add SKUs, particularly in advance of major gaming content coming soon. Sometimes that’s a presentation, like a Nintendo Direct, but other times it can be related to a video gaming item coming. For example, a Reddit user has now relayed information showing that many SKUs relating to the Switch 2 are now in GameStop’s system.
Some of them are Express MicroSD cards, 2 of them being 256GB and one being 512GB. The rest seem to be various Switch 2 accessories, such as a carrying case, a Joy-Con charger grip, gaming cases and even a temper glass. None of these items can be pre-ordered, and there is no release date listed with any of these SKUs. There isn’t even a December 31st placeholder date. Nevertheless, it would be shocking if Nintendo wasn’t aware of these rumors and leaks by now. Whether the company wants to do anything about it or not, if they’re even able to do so, remains to be seen. For now, the pictures of the GameStop SKUs the Reddit user took can be seen down below.
At this stage, even if Nintendo sticks to the plan, the Switch 2 is just going to be revealed before they even have a chance to reveal it themselves.
Either way, Nintendo needs to reveal the system either next week or 4th Week if they want to beat out the leakers again
We knoe absolutely nothing besides the overall form factor, sontheir is plenty for Nintendo to reveal and show. 🤷♂️
We don’t even know the launch games. Nintendo is still holding most of the cards here.
Even if Nintendo will go exactly as they plan right now, the Switch 2 rumors and leaks won’t stop anytime soon. Just remember, the Gamefreak hacker is still on the run and he might leak everything of Nintendo’s upcoming plans before they do.

The only thing it wasn’t mentioned in the rumor is the Switch 2 price.
We know everything but the hardware at this point, to me that’s pretty weird given the fact that we now know that some people actually own this console already (allegedly). I don’t think we gotta wait that much longer though given the fact that leaks are spreading like wildfire recently

With all due respect to some… The only 2 things we know about the successor of the Switch is its backward compatibility with it and its maximum presentation date… the rest is just a conjuncture conveyed by individuals of more than dubious reliability…
Need I remind you that they have repeatedly announced false things?
Like for example the live broadcast in February last year which took place to end in March? And what was their far-fetched excuse? “Microsoft asked Nintendo to delay the live” and the worst of all, some people believed it!
Or in September 2024 when they swore that we were going to see something and in the end nothing!
And you persist in believing them?..
Has anyone yet understood that in the first case they relied on the fact that Nintendo was broadcasting its live streams in February?
And in the second, the fact that the video of the presentation of the switch took place in September…?
All this just proves that these leakers know nothing and use people’s gullibility to gain notoriety.
I’m sure that if the new console looks nothing like what they claimed, they’ll make up excuses and go after Nintendo!
I reckon the real truth is Nintendo is spending extra time manufacturing plenty of units to avoid shortages at launch. This has given more opportunity for the hardware leaks we’ve seen. I mean, it’s no longer “rumors” anymore. They are bona fide leaks.
Agreed, nothing black be believed wlexcept that Nintendo has said they will announce by the end of March and that is all we can go on. All these so called leakers are just people seeking attention that have no clue what’s going on.
