It is not just Nintendo that file trademarks. Other video gaming companies such as Bandai Namco, SEGA and Take-Two will also, from time to time, file some trademarks of their own for similar reasons. They aren’t limited to just Japan either. Video gaming companies do file trademarks in other regions as well. So, it isn’t surprising to learn that another trademark has been filed by a company recently.
This time, it has been discovered that SEGA has filed a new trademark for something called “Sonic Blitz”. It isn’t really known what the trademark is for, other than it more than likely being related to Sonic the Hedgehog, so fan speculation has been running wild with all sorts of theories. It doesn’t help that the trademark itself covers various forms of media and categories. Whatever it is, we’ll probably find out in the near future.

SEGA IS BLITZING IT
Like Banana Blitz? Forced motion controls? Imprecision? What a disgrace. Glitchy and unplayable, like the rest of ’em; the only saving grace is a few good tunes. 4/10 AT BEST.
Finally, another user of culture.
no
Banana blitz is so garbage
Maybe a Sonic party game for example.
Remember that rumor last year that mentioned an Apple Arcade exclusive Sonic sport game? If nothing else I bet the trademark is related to that.
I was watching Gamescage yesterday and it got me thinking maybe this could be a new Sonic fighting game or a beat-em up
