Rumor: LEGO Game Boy coming in October

By now, you are more than likely aware of the news that a LEGO Nintendo Game Boy set is coming to be releasing later this year. Details were few and far between, but Nintendo had released a small teaser of the LEGO set on their official social media accounts. That was over a month ago, however, and there hasn’t been any news since.

With news on the set being few and far between, it’s probably not surprising that rumors are trying to fill in that void. This rumor comes from Falconbrickstudios, a well known LEGO leaker. According to Falconbrickstudios, the LEGO Game Boy set will be releasing on October 1st. As for pricing, it will be $59.99, which would be the equivalent of £48. The set will have 421 pieces.

    1. It really is, since 10/per brick is the baseline. Definitely wait for a sale or buy second hand (got my LEGO NES for $200 new second hand years later)

  1. I can see more Nintendo sets coming as time goes on, seem to be a lot of super Mario more kiddy stuff, but a few nice 18+ sets now. I’m waiting for a samus head like Lego have done with the Star Wars characters and a nice big detailed hyrule castle

      1. I know she’s a little – robus, but then the great Gigli herself once crushed a tenor to death and no one thought any the worse of her for it.

  2. I wouldn’t be surprised if this rumor turns out to be true! LEGO and Nintendo have been collaborating a lot lately, and a Game Boy set seems like a perfect addition. If the details are accurate, $59.99 for 421 pieces sounds pretty reasonable too!

  3. That’s awesome news! I’m a huge fan of both LEGO and Nintendo, so this is a dream come true. It’ll be interesting to see how they translate the Game Boy’s iconic design into LEGO bricks. I wonder if they’ll include any playable elements or mini-games built in. This reminds me of how much fun I used to have playing simple games on my old Game Boy, sometimes, I wish I was a Snow rider 3d now! Hope they release more details soon, I’m already saving up for it! https://snowrider3dfree.com
