The next mainline Resident Evil game Resident Evil 9 could be unveiled as early as this week at the Summer Game Fest. This news comes from notable Resident Evil insider Dusk Golem who says they are 95% positive of the reveal happening. The insider went on to say that there’s a “lot of buzz in the grapevine” and “lots of rumblings” finally stating that they are “getting into hype mode.” The last mainline Resident Evil game was the well-received Resident Evil Village which is available on Nintendo Switch via Cloud Gaming.

I sort of agree, but if you had played RE4 remake that’s definitely the direction they should go with. But maybe just a little bit more slow-paced and try to tap into those 90s vibes.
