Nintendo has added the long-awaited GameCube title Super Mario Strikers on the Nintendo Switch 2 via the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack service. Super Mario Strikers joins the likes of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker and F-Zero GX as playable with a subscription. To play all you need to do is own a Nintendo Switch 2 and download the Nintendo Classics GameCube application on the Nintendo Switch Online portal on your system.
Super Mario Strikers now available on Switch 2 for Switch Online Expansion members

It’s even in 16:9 (one of the few 1st party GC titles that had this option)
HD and with the online play as well, this is essentially a free (kind of) remaster 😭
I really want Smash Bros. 64 and Smash Bros. Melee on the service, it would make it way more desireable to actually get it. Although, I have a feeling if it comes down to it, it will be Donkey Kong 64/Diddy Kong Racing vs Smash Bros. 64/Smash Bros. Melee and Nintendo’s going to choose one side. Perhaps there is more nuance as to why some of the Smash games are not on the service. Maybe it has something to do with risking a loss in sales for newer games, but Smash Bros. 64 was on the Wii while Smash Bros. Brawl was on there, so it partly doesn’t make sense why.
