Nintendo Studios LLC and Universal Pictures have registered a copyright for a Donkey Kong motion picture seemingly hinting that this could be the next big new project for Nintendo Studios LLC besides the already announced live-action The Legend of Zelda movie and the sequel to the hit Super Mario Bros. Movie. The title is simply listed as Untitled Donkey Kong Project Motion picture and the copyright records are dated 6th June, 2025.
