Warner Bros has unveiled the official trailer for the long-awaited Mortal Kombat II movie which features plenty of over the top martial arts action and special effects, The movie is directed by Simon McQuoid, who helmed the 2021 adventure. Mortal Kombat II launches in North America on 24th October and internationally beginning 22nd October. Check out the explosive action unfold in the trailer down below.

This looks bad but at the same time makes nostalgic about to bad movie adaptations from the 90’s
I think it looks great. Whether it actually IS great is another matter. I’m just glad to see Kano & Scorpion back. My only issue is Kano’s back to being a “good” guy. Fan favorites don’t have to be good guys, Hollywood.
Also, I want Shao Khan to kill Cole just to establish how dangerous he is.
I agree, the trailer looks promising, especially with Kano and Scorpion back. Kano being a good guy feels a little strange, though—I’d rather see him keep that unpredictable edge.
