EA has apparently got a few unannounced Disney IPs under its belt which it is set to reveal in the future. Naturally some of these are based on the popular Star Wars and Marvel franchises, but hopefully they have got a few based on classic Disney franchises. With the success of 3D platformers as of late with Astro Bot on PlayStation 5 and Donkey Kong Bananza on Nintendo Switch 2, it would be a dream come true to have some based on classic Disney IP.
“According to Miele, EA’s current slate tied to Disney and Marvel IP includes the upcoming “Star Wars Jedi 3” game from developer Respawn, large-scale mobile title “Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes,” MMO “Star Wars: The Old Republic,” as well as an “Iron Man” video game and “a few others that haven’t been announced yet.”

Why is Animaniacs in the picture? That’s WB not Disney. Also on the Marvel side the rumors were Black Panther now canceled, Iron Man confirmed but still no trailer, and a third game which rumors went rampant on different things some claimed it was a fighting game for Marvel now that seems unlikely given Tokon and others claimed that was first to be canceled. Only other thing I could think of is The Simpsons Hit & Run finally getting remade but the question is by who? All EA studios seem busy they might just be exaggerating too much it could just be Apex/Sims DLC they count as a game kr knowing EA they forgot they canceled titles. Not sure what a Mickey thing could be because I think the last game was THQ Nordic and I assume they have the license still and have yet to remake Epic Mickey 2 or open doors for sequels finally. Was hoping Simpsons would go to THQ Nordic as well. Surprised EA isn’t going back to their old stuff Def Jam or succesor, SSX, NBA Street, Fight Night which has long been rumored, and if they keep the UFC license just make it like Undisputed moving forward.
It just gives people false speculation of a big crossover involving Mickey Mouse and The Animaniacs.
