Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero is finally coming to the Nintendo Switch and the Nintendo Switch 2 and it already has a massive roster of characters for player to chose from. With DLC included it’s currently at 208 characters in total and Bandai Namco says more are coming. The company said that the next downloadable content is already in the pipeline and that they will share more details on its contents in January. I mean yeah, makes sense, they still haven’t finished the season pass.
Game is missing way too much and they take too long to release. So many characters missing from the game that were in Tenkaichi 3. Then new stuff also not included.
At this point it makes more sense to make a new game and do what the originals did add missing transformations like Golden Great Ape and characters not added before also Super Dragon Ball Heroes stuff. Fix all the issues this game had add better menus and actual cutscenes. Doing more DLC this late is a horrible move it would be missing characters from previous games and they make you pay for them even worse not all of them and they make you wait for January to reveal. Would have been smarter to bundle season 1 with the Switch ports and then announce new DLC around the same time to bring back excitement to the game a new audience has something to play the hype would be back but Bandai is busy taking L’s.
The head of marketing for Bandai Namco said Tao and Chi Chi would be playable in the base roster he lies that should be grounds for lawsuit false marketing.

What?! What will they add a small portion of what is missing in the game that was in previous games?! Just make a new game add everything in it and avoid all the issues this trash had. Also make a new Shonen Jump crossover game.

Tekken is complete garbage instead of wasting money on that, esports, and western crap focus on the anime games that make money. They need to lose the licenses to this stuff they treat the properties so bad and fan bases even worse. Tekken got way too big a budget and now its not paying off the awful guest characters, Harada’s horrible leadership, awful influencers like Maximilian dood all led to this and other companies flopping like Square and Capcom add WB Games and Bandai to that list. Why add Colone Sanders and Waffle House to Tekken? Awful story and wasting money on a guest character no one wanted because they bootlick Yoshi P.
If you’re Shueisha/Hitostubashi Group you dump Bandai for Savvy Games Group have the Saudi’s fund the next games get CyberConnect2 to make it and SNK can publish.
Season 3 of Tekken still not announced and Harada admits he and Murray may not be involved with the next Tekken because of how bad 8 did. Bandai needs to pull the plug now. Funny they haven’t announced season 3 yet. Sparking Zero had a bigger launch and more anticipation but they fumbled for Tekken 8 and Max Dood.
What are they going to add? Finally add Original Dragon Ball characters like Grandpa Gohan? Pikkon, Super 17? I mean the struggled to get this little amount out imagine how hard it would be to do that. Even worse they’ll charge for characters that should have been in the base game to begin with. Bandai is a joke of a company I wish someone else would take the licenses from them look they abandoned One Piece games and Naruto/Boruto canceled those titles but Unknown 9 got made.
Need a Kinnikuman game like this but actually packed and none of the problems this has.
Watch them add the awful DBS manga exclusive characters. That stuff was awful anyone telling you it’s good these tards are not real Dragon Ball fans just frauds and they just like brand no different to MCU stans they never liked this stuff, Black Frieza is awful. Everyone owes the other games apologies Burst Limit, Raging Blast, Raging Blast 2, Shin Budokai, Another Road all better than this. Tenkaichi 2 is still king
Current “anime fans” “weebs” are not real anime fans all frauds all tourists and normies they ruined everything not just anime. Anyone who thinks Attack On Titan, Jujutsu Kaisen, and My Hero Academia are the greatest thing ever or that DBZ created the battle shonen genre over in their 30’s are frauds even worse just started watching anime in their 30’s. Same with gaming and TV/film.

Game is missing way too many characters from previous games Tenkaichi 2 and 3 and Raging Blast 2 why aren’t they here? Bandai Namco is a garbage company. We lose a One Piece game, Naruto, and possibly more. Even worse making people wait for January you can’t hype this game again waiting that long the Super Hero DLC brought people back but they let the momentum die. It would make more sense to make Tenkaichi 4 or 5 call it that and fix all the problems this had.
Can I just get collections on Switch Tenkaichi 1-3 maybe Budokai 1-3 and even the others like Raging Blast 1-2, Burst Limit, and Shin Budokai and Another Road. The One Piece and Naruto games too and we need a Jump crossover collection Battle Stadium DON, Jump Super Stars, Jump Ultimate Stars, J Stars, and Jump Force.
