WildBrain Studios apparently working on Crash Bandicoot animation at Netflix

Everyone’s favourite Australian marsupial Crash Bandicoot is apparently getting an animated series on Netflix. The animation is being handled by WildBrain Studios, who were the team behind the successful Sonic Prime animation which ran on the streaming platform for three seasons. Microsoft is currently the owners of the Crash Bandicoot franchise after its successful acquisition of Activision.

  1. Ew why? WildBrain is trash. The last cartoon they made with him was bad too Skylanders. WildBrain handled Sonic Prime and that was awful too. These bad Canadian studios desperate for money they make nothing but trash.

    1. Exactly WildBrain is a dump so is all of Canada. Nelvana went under, WildBrain is on watch and I think Genius became name only studio. They need foriegn money to fund bad animation and content like Degrassi because they can’t fund their own stuff except degen content look at Ayla.

  2. If they want to make a good show, don’t get the Sonic Prime people, get the Sonic Boom people. While the animation quality was clearly low budget, the writing more than made up for it. My kids still watch old Sonic Boom episodes and I find myself chuckling more often than not at a witty joke the writers threw in there for the grownups.
