CinemaCon is currently taking place in Las Vegas and Sony Pictures had a small bit of news to share about the upcoming The Legend of Zelda film during their panel. Co-produced by Nintendo and directed by Wes Ball, filming has officially wrapped in New Zealand for the live-action adaptation. Now moving into post-production, The Legend of Zelda hits theaters on 7th May 2027, with Benjamin Evan Ainsworth starring as Link and Bo Bragason as Princess Zelda.

I think I have been at this website since maybe october or november of last year? But this is the most I have ever seen, but I remember some sonic articles got high up there like the amy voice actress reveal and the article about sonic’s crossworld underperformance. I am glad to see some humans here!
I just reread the comment section, and I want to say that around 30-40% of the comments are from that fight between bella and ice fan. Also at the bottom I create an alt email and tried creating a reimaging of mother 3 because puppet master pissed me off.

While I would have preferred Nintendo and Universal to go the animated route, I still have high hopes for this movie 🎬
I still think LoZ would fare better as an episodic series- I can’t imagine them being able to fit an entire Zelda experience into a ~2 hour movie when the games take so much longer, even without side content (and disregarding speedruns, obviously).

@Mason – The reason the games take longer is because of all the dungeons. Nobody would want to sit though a 8 hour series or movie watching Link collect endless keys in dungeons 😂

Thanks, Bella and that one guy who told people they deserve to die really did offend me. I once had a friend who became trans, but they sadly killed themselves from people making fun of her. I am fine if people don’t support it, but telling people to kill themselves because of what they support made me remember when I lost a close friend of mine because people were mocking her. But zeepzeep and cfg were fighting back those awful comments, which made me feel at peace. Thank you.
