The new Xbox boss Asha Sharma seems to be determined to turn around Xbox and has outlined in a message to employees, which has been published online on the Xbox Wire site, that they are “reevaluating” their approach to exclusives. Xbox Game Studios has brought a number of games to Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 including the Fallout and the Elder Scrolls franchise. Whether they continue to support the platform along with the PlayStation 5 going forward remains to be seen.
“Along the way, we will reevaluate our approach to exclusivity, windowing, and AI, and share more as we learn and decide.”
You gotta do what you gotta do. Hopefully they can turn xbox around and fund more games.
I can’t see it coming back majority of the Xbox One gen had no games and this gen no games at launch and none at all really. The damage has been done also them partnering with Discord is weird the platform that has CP on it. It’s still awful.
You gotta have some exclusives though- that’s part of the draw of making people want your console. Hell, Persona 5 is what made me get a PS4 after I watched a friend play through a bit of it (it was 2018, years before it went multi-platform).

Typically, I would completely agree.
However, Microsofts war chest is bigger than Nintendo and Sony combined, and then some.
Fundamentally, I believe XB made too many errors and will never get back the 360 magic.
..Apparently hoarding studios and then Closing them because they did not make a 30% revenue was not a sound move.
Sony is also re thinking putting their exclusives on PC… a Laptop and my Switch (Switch2 now) was the only thing i needed since many years ago. now they realize how they hurt themselves.
