It looks like Activision has seen the success that Nintendo and SEGA have had at cinemas with their flagship properties and wants to jump on board. The company has filed a trademark for a Crash Bandicoot movie and TV show clearly knowing there is money to be made. There have been rumours of both an animated series for Netflix from WildBrain Studios and a movie being in development.
Activision files trademark for Crash Bandicoot movie and TV show

I don’t know…even at its peak in the 90’s Crash was relegated to guy in a costume suit on a TV commercial. Surely this isn’t going to be anything good
I don’t know about this, and I love crash I just don’t know what this could possibly look like or what tone it would be. I’m open to being surprised but just from seeing this headline, nothing springs to mind.
Instead they should bring back Vicarious Visions which still exists as Blizzard Albany and given them the rights to oversee future Crash games, Spyro including another remake done right, THPS also 3+4 remake since Iron Galaxy one was meh, THUG remakes finally, THAW, Banjo, Conker, Kameo, Jet Force Gemini, True Crime, Prototype, Blinx, Phantom Dust, Magatama, Tenchu,Mech Assault, Fuzion Frenzy, all the old IP. Need a proper True Crime NYC sequel too.
