The latest version of No Rest for the Wicked was showcased yesterday during the Sony State of Play conference and it is a stunning hack and slash title. The game from the developers behind the acclaimed Ori and the Blind Forest, and its sequel, will be arriving on the Nintendo Switch 2.The game has not yet received a firm release date and is simply listed as to be determined. The full 1.0 release of No Rest for the Wicked is scheduled to arrive on PC and PlayStation 5 first in October.

Loved Ori and also loving the style of this game. Excited to play this on Switch 2!
I thoroughly enjoyed playing both Ori games, and I wish Moon Studios would acquire the rights from Microsoft to make a third game. I’ve also been waiting a long time for this game to exit early access.
Off topic, but relevant to the trailer.
Sony is in a place right now, that regardless of what they do, or don’t do, they don’t get criticized to the extent that Nintendo, or even a sliver of how MS does.
From having to download data to fully play games, keeping single player games online to function, having virtually a vacant console with a handful of exclusives to justify the purchase of the box, to this whole Platform Logo erasure on the trailer for the games they announce. (This is the reason I bring it up, since the switch 2 logo wasn’t on the trailer), and other things among many.
Sony has been immune to any criticism.
I’m not mad at it however, I’m just wondering how long it’ll last. It used to be that Nintendo could do no wrong a few generations ago. It’s how the term “Nintendo White Knights” got coined. But that didn’t last long before the Internet turned on them. So I wonder, how long before the Internet and media turns on Sony.

Everything Moon Studios has done has been amazing. Ori is one of the reason why I even picked up and XBO when I did. I’m surprised no one has picked them up, because this game looks amazing as well.
