Bandai Namco revealed yesterday that the long-awaited port of Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition for the Nintendo Switch 2 launches on 28th August. Today, the company has posted new footage of the game running on the Nintendo Switch 2 and it looks surprisingly decent. Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition was pushed back as the team at FromSoft wanted to optimise the game more for the Nintendo Switch 2 after the build was severely criticised by media for its noticeable performance issues. Hmm all slow walking shots. Maybe they’re hiding LOD or pop-in or something. Still hopeful, would have killed for a 40fps mode, definitely not double dipping at $80 even if it’s my GOAT.
