The Kingdom Hearts Nintendo Switch Cloud Versions being delisted today

Square Enix announced that a native Kingdom Hearts Collection is coming to Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 during the Nintendo Direct presentation. Today, the company has announced that they are being delisted from the eShop. If you’ve splashed out on these titles then you can only play them for another year before they no longer work. The Japanese company says that they will remain playable until Wednesday, June 9, 2027 and then they will just stop working.

Nintendo Switch Cloud Version titles in the KINGDOM HEARTS series were discontinued from sale as of 14:59 (UTC) on Tuesday, June 9, 2026. Even after the discontinuation of sales, these titles will remain playable until 14:59 (UTC) on Wednesday, June 9, 2027. We sincerely apologize to our valued customers for this sudden announcement.

  1. That’s why I’m against the cloud…
Unfortunately, I feel like we’re heading in that direction a little more each year.

      1. That is a lie and I’m tired if people saying that. You can only redownload Wii and now 3DS games with a modded console. You are a Liar.

        1. Dude, why are you spreading lies? You can still easily download video games you’ve already bought, even after the shutdown.

  2. Once Nintendo Digital Storefronts shut own you can no longer redownload your purchased software to your console on the Internet without mods.

    1. That’s absolutely false… besides, the Wii/Wii U and 3DS stores have been closed for a long time, but you can still redownload the games you bought before.

    2. This is a full on lie and the fact that it’s so easy for anyone to prove you wrong is crazy you keep posting this nonsense. Any 3ds right now you can redownload any purchased games I have personally done it as recent as this month. I can also say this for WiiU. I havnt used my Wii in years but can only imagine it’s the same.
