SEGA has announced that players who own the content-packed Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds will be able to play as Amigo today. The character will be free to everyone who owns the game. Starting 10th September at 5pm PT and until 13th September fans can jump in for the Samba de Amigo festival and earn festival points for decals, gadgets and more. Here’s what’s included:
- Amigo as a playable character
- Special “Amigo (Classic)” Skin featuring Amigo’s signature sombrero
- Amigo’s vehicle, the Locomotive de Amigo
- Special emotes and sounds
- “VAMOS A CARNAVAL” 2023 Version, (Final Lap)
- “Let’s find and shake it” (Jukebox Only)
My Final Predictions for the direct:
For the Nintendo direct, it will cold open with new footage of a new game in a random old franchise, with ports of Clair obscur and assassins creeds 4 resynced, another trailer for Duskbloods with a release date, a new trailer for Nintendo switch sports, Pokemon colosseum being added to Nintendo switch online, doom the dark ages is coming to switch 2, guardians of the galaxy for the switch 2, sea of sorrow (hopefully), and we will end on a teaser trailer for the next 3d Mario game

È una bella iniziativa da parte di SEGA per mantenere vivo l’interesse verso Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds. L’arrivo di Amigo come personaggio gratuito è un omaggio interessante alla storia della compagnia e sicuramente farà piacere ai fan di Samba de Amigo. Anche il festival con ricompense, adesivi e gadget aggiunge un motivo in più per tornare a giocare e provare nuovi contenuti. Questi eventi stagionali rendono il gioco più dinamico e coinvolgente, un po’ come succede in altre forme di intrattenimento, ad esempio una serata tra amici con giochi a tema casino per su questa risorsa divertirsi in modo leggero. È bello vedere SEGA continuare a supportare la community.
