Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse demo releases 1st October

Konami has thankfully confirmed that they will be releasing a demo for the eagerly-anticipated Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse for the Nintendo Switch. The game will run at 30fps on the Nintendo Switch compared with the Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 versions which run at 60fps.

    1. A switch 2 version is surely inevitable which would hopefully be a free update if u purchase it for the original switch, but I would of thought that the switch 2 will also eventually gets its own true physical copy either by a standard release or through someone like limited run.
Maybe they don’t want to hamper original switch sales by talking too much about a switch 2 version slightly later on.
I would be more than happy to buy it digitally if it runs well on the switch if it’s priced like silksong and then get the true physical version later on which would be an ideal situation as it could then contain any patches, dlc etc on the cart

  1. I had a dream where I was watching a direct and there was a trailer showing that Duskbloods was launching on October 29th. Let’s see if my dream is right!
But please have SW2 version. The switch version is going to run at 30 fps and that does not sound fun for a very smooth 2D hack and slash. I am usually fine with 30 fps, but the problem is this game can run at 60 fps if it had a switch 2 edition.
