On October 4th, Pikmin are heading to Trafalgar Square as part of Japan Matsuri, one of the biggest annual celebratory festivals of Japanese culture in London, where Nintendo will return offering free Pikmin activities and gifts.
Visitors can take part in the Japan Matsuri Party Walk in Pikmin Bloom and visit the Nintendo stall to choose a Pikmin-themed gift, such as a smartphone lanyard. Anyone stopping by can also pick up a free Pikmin hat to wear as they enjoy the festival. Pikmin-themed gifts and Pikmin hats are available whilst stocks last.
Pikmin Bloom can be downloaded free of charge from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Once Pikmin Bloom is installed, players can register for the Japan Matsuri Party Walk by opening the following link on their smartphone and joining the event in the app:
Registering in advance means participants can arrive at Japan Matsuri ready to show the Party Walk screen at the Nintendo stall shortening queue times, without needing to download the app or complete registration on-site. Hosted by Japan Matsuri, the Party Walk will take place from September 28th to October 7th.
While at the festival, visitors can discover a Special Spot in Pikmin Bloom and meet an exclusive Decor Pikmin commemorating Japan Matsuri. Those taking part in the Japan Matsuri Party Walk will also receive an in-game digital postcard, which can be sent to in-game friends.
Pikmin Bloom is a fun walking app featuring Pikmin, mysterious plant-like creatures that live around us. However, they cannot be seen with the naked eye. Pikmin Bloom enables everyone not only to see Pikmin, but also to interact with them in their everyday life.
