I love my Wii, I play Skyward Sword every day I have the chance (which is to say, most days). Kirby wasn’t a massive launch compared to Zelda or Arkham City or Assassin’s Creed. It’s only sold about 390,000 copies in the USA. I wasn’t discrediting it as a game, I was saying that you really can’t compare its sales to bigger games that sell millions in their first weeks. Re-read the post and you’ll understand that I’m not the ignorant one here.

No we havn’t… hard core Nintendo fans (AND casual fans) will always play Nintendo, for me the Wii is still standing strong with Skyward Sword and I’m looking forward to Mario Party 9. I use my Wii for fun casual games still such as Mario Kart Wii and Wii Sports Resort. I also use my downloaded games all the time such as OOT, MM, Paper Mario, Mario 64, and the Sonic games too. So I’m sure many other Nintendo fans are doing the same, and will continue to even after the release of the Wii U, for example I still use my Gamecube.
On a seperate point, facebook games are RUBBISH, some are ok but not at the STANDARD and QUALITY of “proper” games. I’m sure even Sony and Microsoft fans would also agree that facebook games (and smart phone games too) are not at the standard of main stream games, they are small casual games that are sometimes fun to play when you have some free time.

I have had my Wii since January 2008 and until recently I’ve started ditching it, but not for some silly social games. Instead, I’m playing more on my 3DS and Xbox 360. Nintendo obviously doesn’t focus on the Wii anymore (except for the RPG games, but I’m not into that genre), so why should we? Let’s save our money for Wii U. :)
