Nintendo has announced that Pokemon Black & White 2 will be arriving in Japan on June 23rd which is the same date that was posted by an online retailer in Japan. Pokemon Black & White 2 will feature two new main protagonists, though they’ve yet to be named. New gym leaders include Shizui who is water type and Homika who is poison type.
Pokemon Black & White 2′s events will take place roughly two years after the events in Pokemon Black & White and the game begins in Hiougi City. You’ll be able to register a massive 300 Pokemon in your Pokedex, and some of these Pokemon will be new to the series. Pokemon Black & White 2 will be arriving in Europe and North America in the Fall.

pretty much that. Serebii has said that it’s only old and new as in unova pokemon. They seem to be referring to the meleotta being officially revealed with her new form and the kyurem forms, because otherwise there’s no “new” pokemon.

Anybody know a good team and their levels that could take down the elite four? I have both versions and got them when they came out, and still, I can’t beat them… Plz help!!!
I used zekrom lv.52 and emboar lv.76 and now there level one hundred
all you really need is 5-6 pokemon at lvl 50 each to beat the elite for + champion
have your starter on level 60 (i recomend it),get a hydrogen,trade and try to get a zorua and evolve it (those are the pokemon i used and on my first time :D

i kinda think dragon type would help i beat all the elite four with dragon type.
It is much easier to win by using attacks that are superefective against the opponent. Shauntal has ghost, so dark and ghost are good. (It won’t be a good idea to use a ghost pokemon, because the weakness can backfire.) Grimsley has dark, so fighting and bug are good. Caitlin has psychic so dark, ghost and bug are good. Marshal has fighting, so psychic and flying are good. The elete four are up to lv 50 at first, so a team at least 5-10 levels higher will have an easier time. I beat the elete four a while ago.. I think it was using a team of Zebstrika, Scrafty, Beheeyem, Crustle, Swanna, and Haxorus. They were all about lv 55.
so i used likie a lvl 70 or so samurott, what ever lvl zekrom was when you catch him, regular kyurem,and cobalion, virizion, and terrakion. was pretty easy.
even though they look like new forms, Kyurem Black and Kyurem White i think would count as new pokemon, even if they are a mash-up of 2 previous pokemon, i believe they have different stats too compared to Reshiram and Zekrom, the new forms of the Kami trio have different stats too but still remain the same pokemon, also the quote also refers to the event pokemon that still haven’t been released like Keldeo and Meloetta and possibly Genesect too

There will not be new pokemon in the game and the fact that some idiotic people count the new forms as new pokemon well it’s sad really because “THERE ARE NO NEW POKEMON” till the next generation of pokemon games, but the fact of the matter is that your pokedex before getting the natural pokedex will be 300 you aren’t getting new pokemon just new features in the game and new forms of a single pokemon. “NO NEW POKEMON PERIOD!”
i really hope they release a couple of new evolutions kind of how they did with tangrowth in heart gold for the new black and white games or atleast make some water or poison pokemon that are cool in the fifth generation maybe to accommodate the new gym leaders.

ROACH? Heracross is a BEETLE! He’s stronger than Alakazam. Take away Alakazam’s speed advantage and he doesn’t stand a chance. Heracross will destroy him anyday, everyday.
Youre half right, half wrong. Heracross is a Fighting Bug- type. Bug is strong agaisnt Psychic, but Fight is weak to Psychic. Its all a matter of who goes first.
I know his fighting half makes him a little weak against psychics, but his strong defense stats will allow him to take a hit from almost any psychic and destroy them on his turn with 1 Megahorn. His atk stats are superb.
I love using my Hearcross against psychics. Most psychics have good speed, but poor physical defence stats. They can’t take a powerful Bug type physical atk like Megahorn.

what about darkrai hmm? Perhaps taking alakazam’s speed away will get him beaten, but what about darkrai?
Now that’s an interesting matchup. Darkrai is a dark type so he’s weak against fighting types, but bug types are weak aginst dark type attacks. It will come down to who hits harder and faster. I’ve never actually fought against Darkrai before.

Woah, woah, woah I think someone’s got it all wrong here yea Darkrai has okay stats but on the thing you said about bugs being weak against dark type moves you’ve got that mixed up dark types are weak against bug types & fighting types, it’s psychic types that are weak against dark types. Plus adding Darkrai’s ability & a good move set & item & Heracross would be dead easily I’ve trained both I should. Heracross has the speed over Darkrai but you’ve forgotten about items that are involved, nature of the pokemon, & move sets. Am I the only one here that really knows what I’m talking about? Because you really need to think outside the box a pokemon with a high sp.atk vs a pokemon with low sp.def in the end the one with the high sp.atk will win that goes for atk & def to.
how about heracross vs victini?
That’s a very good matchup. Victini is a fire/psychic. So on one end he is weak against Heracross, but his fire attribute is a problem.
Victini is stronger than Heracross in almost every way, except ATK. If Heracross survives Victini’s first attack, I think it could win with a Megahorn.

Interesting choice. Heracross can learn Ice Punch through breeding. That would take care of steel types.

Well, they could introduce the time machine concept again, but I doubt it. I’m predicting mainly new formes. My biggest question is this – will it be possible to have both formes of Kyurem in the same game? Also I’m hoping that there will be a simple transfer system from BW to B2W2, rather than having to trade my many monsters over to the new game.
Most of the game-play was “updated” so to speak not sure about the transfer system but I am sure that it’s still there

There is a few guys getting tied up with the whole ‘new’ pokemon thing. You have to bear in mind that ones like Meloetta, Keldeo and Genesect are considered as new pokemon even though we know about them already. Nintendo always announce them as new. The simple point is, we still don’t know for sure whether or not we will have new pokemon, there is still a lot of information to be released between now and June.
If its new forms what about pokemon like arcanine which was mentioned, getting a winter coat like arctic foxes do thus making it fire and ice that would be awesome!

There is no new pokemon except for the new forms of Kyurem. You will still start off with the same three starters as in bllack and white and now have access to pokemon from older generations. These games are still from gen 5 so there are no new pokemon but if you choose to believe there will be new pokemon just wait to be disappointed. Personally i don’t understand the point of new gym leaders, i would much rather they made them gym leaders for the next gen so there was a whole new region to explore rather than making slightly different alterations in a attempt to get more money.There will still only be 8 gym leaders but is unknown which gym leaders they will replace. These games have a few new qualities that make them different to the original black and white but unfortunately i see this game being a letdown and i’m preparing for the worst pokemon adventure games (yellow, red, blue, green, gold, silver, crystal, ruby, sapphire, emerald, fire red etc you get what i mean) yet.
There is no possible way it can be as bad as the original black and white. Maybe these games will actually have some content.

Thank you for actually givin us accurate info! Some people are so quick to jump to wrong conclusions. I use serebii for all my info; it’s reliable. But yeah Cheren is the new normal type leader and Homika is a new poison type gym leader whom will be the 2nd leader. Elesa will still be a leader but she has had a change in appearance (makes since seeming she is a model). There’s another new one that I know of that’s water type I think but I forget who…. And Bianca gives us our pokemon in the beginning of the game. N returns eventually with Zekrom/Reshiram and Ghetsis also appears… Etc etc… But I am actually planning on getting this game. Hopefully it will be worth it.

I heard that pokemon b2w2 comes out in October 7th for U.S. And 11th October for Australia. There won’t be new starters just some modifications. Eg: new places, new forms of pokemon and you start off in a city. What i want to know is whether or not you can get zorua without an event for b2w2.
Zorua is going to be obtainable without an event.
