Blake Robinson Synthetic Orchestra To Release Banjo-Kazooie Symphony May 31

From the musician who brought you the Super Metroid Symphony comes a brand new release, and it’s entirely dedicated to Banjo-Kazooie. The Blake Robinson Synthetic Orchestra proudly delivers 72 minutes of gorgeous sound in his new album entitled The Banjo-Kazooie Symphony.

By working with Grant Kirkhope – the original composer for the Banjo-Kazooie soundtrack – Blake Harrison’s album features 30 tracks which remains ever-faithful to the source material and promises to deliver over an hour of ‘nostalgic adventure’. In support of the release, Banjo-Kazooie composer Kirkhope said:

“It never ceases to amaze me how many people still listen to the music from the Banjo games after all these years, it really is very humbling. I have to say that I’m really honoured that Blake has taken the time and effort to take those old rough sounding tunes and turn them into something that I think is fantastic… I hope you’ll all agree.”

For more information on the album you can check out the Facebook page and website, but if you simply want to get a feel for the music, you can watch the video posted above. The Banjo-Kazooie Symphony will be released on May 31 and is available for $10 on iTunes and Loudr.

  1. Instead of a techno remix they should release a Banjo boxset with ALL the tracks from the games not just a few selections.

  2. gruntildas fucking industries man. that music got me through that insanely hard and infamous level that i always hated. 6 hours later got everything in it as well as the game. ive beat a decent number of games in my life and this was one of the few games i felt an accomplishment by beating everything in it.

  3. *Concentrates*

    …Nope, can’t remember one song from Banjo-Kazooie. That’s a baaaaad sign.

  4. I can’t wait for his symphony :D
    At first I was like:
Nooooo this ain’t gonna be a new Banjo game for the Xbox One..
But than I saw symphony and got super exited x)

        1. thank you…….. the more you know. kind of ironic that phrase “the more you know”. most people dont know what lies hidden from this world and once you do know and see. the great PIOUS chosen of the darkness will make you not want to know. like the many others that suffered the pain of eternal darkness…….. ahhhahahahahahah. your on your way of not becoming in the darkness… but serving the darkness.

  6. Can’t wait to hear all of the orchestrated tracks! Both Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie music never ceases to amaze me, which Grant Kirkhope will always be one of my idols. :) I wonder if any tracks from Banjo-Tooie were arranged? If not, then challenge accepted! ;) already have one orchestrated track down from Banjo-Tooie on my SoundCloud.
