The trailer for The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD‘s Hero Mode has been released. Toward the end of the trailer a Zelda-inspired Wii U Deluxe Set is shown, confirming the existence of the rumored bundle. Based on the clip, the special edition console will come with a black Wii U GamePad, plated with Zelda designs and markings. The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD will be released in October in Europe and North America.

Might not seem a lot but, if you can’t find recovery hearts and rely on potions and fairies to recover then… it becomes quite a bit harder. In fact, MUCH harder.
Given how piss easy the boss fights were in WW, I’d say it makes it just a little easy.

Yeah, I would at least make the enemies have double health. Link taking double damage, and not finding recovery hearts is not enough. I am not sure if I will purchase or not…

It’s true. I also was buttmad at 3D World when they could have done another amazing Mario 64/Galaxy-like game. The WiiU’s first party lineup is looking pathetic to me as well. If they had released a Metroid, a F-Zero and StarFox, true open world 3D Mario and release the next Zelda by 2014’s end, I’d go running to buy the damn thing, but instead we get SAMESHIT. Smash Bros looks like Brawl, there’s no way to innovate that. 3D World LOL and Wind Waker PORT that looks worse than the original, adding baby mode features to whiny bitches. Mario Kart 8 looks good, but I wont buy a console to play fucking mario kart. Even Retro is now screwing up with that donkey kong rehash, looks like a Wii game too, can’t believe they spent 3 fucking years on that shit!

Looks like Brawl yet there’s no tripping, the speed’s in between Melee and Brawl, the colors look more appealing unlike Brawl’s Uncanny Valley palette, the outline option in the 3DS version, many characters have a few differences in their moveset and stance (most notable example is Bowser), and the offscreen impacts actually let you know who gets the point.
Was about to say I dont see a Windwaker Bundle…But the design on the Gamepad looks off…like its a decorative plastic protective case on the gamepad…not like its actually painted on. Though Gamepads were promised to be sold individually at somepoint.

Japan’s official products are expensive, don’t count on it. China however makes a lot of good quality vinyl sticker decals for all consoles they have Zelda ones, Mario, Sonic and even ponies and crap.

I am very pleased right now! I was going to be happy enough had WW HD simply been bundled with an everyday Deluxe Edition, saving me the extra sixty dollars of buying it separately! Now there’s a very cool gamepad in my future as well (I’m loving those Hylian-text borders)! I just hope there’s no Super Smash Bros. bundle in the future to spoil my fun.

Another thing I didn’t notice until just now. If this IS a special Zelda-themed Wii U, and the Gamepad is the only thing that has a special design, then it’s STILL worthless! I know that the Gamepad is the thing about the Wii U that makes it “different” and “unique”. But man, I’m SO sick and tired of that darn Gamepad being the only thing that Nintendo ever emphasizes and talks about.
This is yet another reason why so many people still thinks that the Wii U is just an add-on to the Wii. Because the console itself is never highlighted, only the Gamepad. You know, I’m willing to bet that if the console itself looked different from past consoles (even if it was in the shape of Mario’s head) the Wii U would have sold a LOT more units. Simply because it looked “different”.
I’ll just being picking up the game only… disappointing that the Wii-U bundled one is the same black glossy Wii-U with a sticker on it.
