super_mario_3d_world_flagNintendo has announced their latest Nintendo Direct will be making its way over to your screens tomorrow, October 1. The broadcast will take place at 7 am PT, 10am ET, and 3pm UK time, and will cover both Wii U and 3DS games launching later this year. There are plenty of games Nintendo has yet to reveal more about, so Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, Super Mario 3D World and Wii Fit U could feature. While 3DS entries such as Pokémon X and Y and The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds might have a look in as well. Plus, a Wii U firmware update may be on the cards very soon, so we could hear more on that in tomorrow’s Direct. You can tune into tomorrow’s broadcast to see all the newest reveals and announcements here.

    1. Please understand that 3rd party dont like and dont support us.But you guys get the NEW mario 3d game that is better than gta 5.ohh and please buy ubisoft games if you want to have some other games than mario or zelda.*Iwata wave*

                1. “It’s infinitely complex, and yet perfectly simple.”-Iwata 2012
That wasn’t the best marketing idea.
                  Too complex for casual gamers
                  Too simple for hardcore gamers

                2. Agreed- lots of idiots posted above you, Sky Grounder. Gotta scroll past a lot of stupid before we get to clear coherent comments. Happens all the time…

    1. they talk about new games this year…Mario 3d world,Donokey kong delay,Watch dogs current gen version+Same Assasins Greed 4,Windwaker Remake HD! and 90 new 3ds games.

      1. Watch Dogs for the Wii U isn’t current gen asswipe especially if Ubisoft says it’ll look better than current gen versions. Smh…the search for a Sony drony with basic common sense continues lol

        1. Yet everyone is wrong. Wii U IS THE ONLY FUCKING CURRENT GEN SYSTEM. We are IN THE 8TH GEN NOW. PS3 and 360 ARE LAST GEN.

    2. Most probably will mention pokemon since it’s coming out in a couple weeks, I’m hoping they’ll just keep it only as a short part of the direct and reveal new things that we don’t already know.

    1. Tell us the name of “X”, god dammit.

Do a sweet story trailer, and at the end it has the name and a full release date.

      1. That’s what I recently asked for on Miiverse! they unveiled it in January, 10 months on they can at least have the courteousy to tell us what it is :/

        1. I don’t care for the name, it could be called shiny robot monster killer and ill still buy it what I want to see is more gameplay maybe a story mission.

          1. All i really want is more information on ‘X’. Xenoblade Chronicles, which is the best game I’ve ever played, was made by Monolith Soft, and for X, there’s now better hardware capabilities. Therefore, they /should/ be able to make better software.

        2. Yeah, people always forget they did that early 2013 direct, which was basically a mini E3 so would surprise me if they did another soon and around Feb 2014.

It’s nice that they do that and it’s waaaay easier on devs because it’s not a case of “lets rush something for E3” meaning games are even pushed back or rushed it ms awkward, but i love the big E3 reactions of past in big conferences.

          1. Indeed. Nintendo will do the big e3’s again, they just will wait till they have something enough to show. I predict next year they will have a conference at e3 and will unveil a new Zelda for Wiiu!!! And of course, the Wiiu i …….

  1. Yay Nintendo Direct!!!!
Although I’m gonna go into this nintendo direct expecting exactly what is described in the article. I often get overhyped (expecting more) and end up somewhat disappointed. This way anything new will be an extra surprise :D

  4. Probably gloss over SM3DW and Tropical Freeze and Sonic Lost World… and reconfirm their release dates.
Probably brag about Wind Waker HD and then talk more about A Link Between Worlds and it’s hinted unique gameplay.

Definitely will talk about OS update and Miiverse update. Would not be surprised if ut voes live that day or later in the week.

Maybe a VC surprise like N64 or GBA games launching soon?

Maybe Miyamoto’s new IP if it’s near completion… Same to Yoshi’s Yarn.

They might remind us of Mario Kart and Smash Bros and
    Bayonetta 2… but nothing big.

    Hopefully a dew surprises

      1. I understand those games are already out for past gen consoles. Might as well have said they’re going to announce Metal Gear Solid 2 and Jet Set Radio.

  5. N64 and GC VC please!
I don’t think we will see many surprises, but perhaps a new “coming in 2014” Montage at the end with new footage of previous announced games.

  6. I love Nintendo! Hopefully they give a release date for the 2nd update. Also, maybe they may give a release date for Deus Ex director’s cut, and some of those Indie titles. Probably show a recap of games releasing later this year, and hopefully some we don’t know about whether it’s for this year or next year. Unfortunately, Miyamoto new IP won’t be revealed till E3.

  7. I really want to see a trailer of a new character in the new ssb4 and I want to see more of super mario 3d land and mario party island tour.

  8. Didn’t they say something about revealing the new Zelda around WWHD’s release date?
Other than that, I want to see more Yarn Yoshi, X, and quite possibly Miyamoto’s new IP. But I’m sure they’ll be saving that for E3.

  10. We will get Pokémon X&Y, Zelda A Link Between worlds and Mario Party Island Tour for the 3DS. As for Wii U, probably Super Mario 3D World, DKC: TF, and Wii Fit U, plus a few 3rd party games, Watchdogs, AC4.
