Wii Karaoke U’s song choice just got a little bigger with 62 new songs added to the lengthy list. Nintendo of Europe has updated the song list to include new tracks that might just hit the proverbial spot for budding singing sensations. Bloc Party, Franz Ferdinand, Jessie J, Oasis and The Beatles are but a few of the big names to feature this time around. Plus, if there was ever any danger of expletives popping up mid-song and stunning you into silence, Nintendo of Europe has taken care of that by issuing warnings on the eShop and the game’s loading screen. Last week, Nintendo stated that they would issue warnings rather than block mature content from songs, as the content is to be enjoyed by everyone and “designed to appeal to all music tastes”.

GOD I hate the way games are being titled on the Wii U. This game should be called “Wii U Karaoke”. Not Wii Karaoke U”. That sounds SO retarded and backwards.
