The Splatoon concert is due to take place in Japan very soon and to celebrate this fact Nintendo has released a video which includes snippets of various songs played by a live band. The concert is to celebrate that the game has shifted over one million units in Japan alone. The concert, titled “Splatoon Squid Sisters Live 2016”, features entertaining CGI performances from the popular Squid Sisters, Callie and Marie. This live concert will be held at the Makuhari Messe Convention Center on January 30th at 17:00 JST.

There must be some decent, non corny/campy/cheesy music on this game. Too bad the ads for Splatoon in the US only have that horrible “your a kid now, your a squid now” crap. I prefer my commercials to have a collage of different pieces of in-game music playing rather than an overall song.
