Fancy brandishing a golf club or a baseball bat instead of using your core Wii’mote’ controller? Well thanks to peripheral manufacturer Brando, you now can.
Brando is currently offering Wii Sports fanatics the chance to take their perpetual gaming experience one step further, as it releases a collection of peripherals which can attach onto the Wii’mote’ to heighten the sense of realism within the game.
Although initially appearing a little too plastic looking for my personal taste, these additional add ons for the Wii’mote’ could prove to be a winning combination for those looking to recreate the ultimate Wii Sports experience at home.

I understand that the JoyTech Wii Sports accessories pack was announced a while back, but word on the street suggests that the Brando produced product is freshly announced. Sorry for any confusion :)

I must note though that the image I used for this article is infact portraying the JoyTech product, rather than the Brando based one.
I think these people are missing the point… it’s not about WHAT you’re using to play a game, but HOW it FEELS… and I’m not sure if these accessories can change a lot of that. Sure, it may “heighten the sense of realism” a little bit… but I don’t think that’s the most important part at all.
Besides, don’t you think having a huge chunk of plastic attached to your Wiimote will tire you out faster? And don’t get me started on “safety” issues… as if the Wiimote is not “dangerous” enough :D
