The undeniably respected Capcom development team behind the critically acclaimed Dead Rising and Lost Planet titles have promptly committed themselves to a new Wii project.

Although details are rather scarce on the ground, it is thought that the game will primarily centre around a new IP, with which Capcom’s Keiji Inafune will undoubtedly take unparalleled advantage of the Wii’s ever-so-intuitive control scheme.

  1. talking about capcom, they should release mega man on the VC from NES and SNES that would be amazing!! but i wonder what type of game they might do on the Wii…

  2. Inafune-sama ranks right up there with Suda-51 as far as I am concerned. Both working on Wii projects. Internets speaks;
    w00t.

  3. I better be a new IP. I will be really pissed off if it turns out to be some MegaMan bullshit. *shakes fist* Something dark, edgy and action paced like Lost Planet please!

  4. I’d love to see some sort of Dead Rising spin-off, or even a port. Don’t know if the Wii could handle it, but whatever. I’d also love to see a Megaman Legends 3, but that’ll never happen.
