Demand appears to be at an all-time-high for Nintendo, as the Wii leaps over the deplorable competition to become the dominant home entertainment system in January.
Preliminary statics that have emerged via NPD Group show sales of the Nintendo Wii reached an unprecedented 436,000 units, whilst sales for the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 reached 294,000 units, and 244,000 units respectively.
Achieving second place to the Wii’s undeniably majestic sales is Sony’s infallible PlayStation 2 console, which according to the statistics presented by NPD shifted an impressive 299,000 units, leaving both the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 trembling in its wake.

What is NPD? Is it that site with the small, crude, three-color bar graph that is peppered with gross ads on all sides? (never again *shudder) Because if it is that site, I’d rather visit nexgenwars instead, but if it is a different site, (it sounds like it is a different site), I would like visit it.
