Shigeru Miyamoto has told online gaming publication Pocket Lint that Mario Kart 3DS is working extremely well with the new hardware.
“What’s really exciting is our new ability to have a sense of depth. Once you have the true 3D visual it becomes very clear where all the objects are on that space, so jumping on objects becomes easier.”
“We’ve found that pulling the camera far back to observe the car racing works really well”.

im excited for a new handheld mario kart…..WHY CAN’T THE 3DS COME OUT NOW!!!!!!
As long as the finished product’s a unique experience from the Wii’s, game on!
I think it really could be a difference in the final game, when the creator has seen it and worked with the 3d-screen from the get go. As opposite the times (like Sony and Polyphony Interactive with the GT5) when you “put it on” in the last minute.
Will be the best Mario Kart ever.
