SEGA‘s Japanese team will be also holding a special Sonic the Hedgehog 35th anniversary stream which promises guests, news on Sonic Pico Park, news on the Sonic Racing CrossWorlds upcoming DLC and World Premier news. The event will take place on 24th June at 7pm JST at the link here. SEGA will also be hosting some special video segments that include behind-the-scenes discussions about the development of older Sonic games, guests for those include:
“Sonic Creative Director Kazuyuki Hoshino, Sonic series producers Shun Nakamura and Sachiko Kawamura, Sonic series Sound Directors Tomoya Ohtani and Jun Senoue, Sonic series directors Katsuyuki Shigihara and Morio Kishimoto, game planner and Sonic story supervisor Eitaro Toyoda, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Creative Director Ken Kobayakawa, and SEGA sound creator Kanon Okuni.”
SEGA previously announced a special birthday bash for western fans of Sonic the Hedgehog to celebrate the series 35th anniversary. The event will include guest hosts Jacki Jing, GamesCage, and RogersBase. You can tune into that 23rd June at 9.30am PT / 5.30pm UK time
