Since the Nintendo 3DS was first announced we’ve been hearing numerous rumours and hints suggesting that a new addition to the immensely popular Monster Hunter series is coming to the 3DS. Capcom have declined to confirm whether or not the franchise is coming to the console but recent words from Capcom’s David Reeves imply that Monster Hunter could be coming to both PlayStation Vita and Nintendo 3DS.

Cool, was never really a big fan of Monster Hunter though, but I guess the more stronger IP’s the system gets the better.
3DS Monster hunter would be awesome.
Just make it one game and port it to both handhelds. Would really be interesting to see qhich one comes out ahead :P.
Anyways I am really looking forward to a monster hunter that would be released in the west and on a system I own XD loved tri to the death
I never played the console monster hunter much because it was so time consuming. Having it on my 3DS would be much better.
:P You’d think that being on a home console would be the perfect place to play time-consuming games, as the idea of handheld games are for on-the-go playthroughs that are often short and sweet.
But to each their own.
It is rather interesting though how many people love to play long games on handhelds.
I’d disagree. With a portable time-consuming game, you’d be able to take it with you to work on no matter where you went. A home console would be more comfortable to work on, I suppose, but if you ever have to leave mid-game, you can’t work on it on the go.
Capcom, if you do nothing else of note for the 3DS (still waiting for a Breath of Fire, Saturday Night Slam Masters, or BeatDown return) do Monster Hunter 3DS.
…now to pester someone into making a new ActRaiser.
Resident Evil: Revelations is definitely note-worthy for the 3DS.
I’m not really a big Resident Evil fan…Onimusha or Dino Crisis definitely.
…but I reckon RE: Revelations is note-worthy, it did make some noise on the 3DS…and honestly is one of a few games worth playing on the 3DS for any long amount of time that isn’t a DS title.

I hope it has 3D and motion tracking gameplay. It really needs it, especially for the underwater battles.

After playing Ocarina of Time 3D, it would be awesome if Capcom could do a Monster Hunter 3D in a similar way. It would be nuts.

1. I haven’t cared for the WWE SD vs. RAW series for long while. The last one that piqued my interest was 06 or 07 (with the GM Mode). The last truly great WWE title was Here Comes the Pain.
2. I’ve grown tired of DBZ fighters BUT if 3DS snag the ideas behind DBZ: Legend of the Super Saiyan and the other two DB/DBZ fighting RPGs from SNES that would be awesome. Just stretch the story to the end of the series.
3. Hmmm…I like Pokemon Dungeon. Good pick.
4. Didn’t care for WWE All Stars, but it would make a very good 3DS game.
5. No comment on DB Origin
6. MK should be on 3DS. My fighting fandom stops with Rival Schools, Soul Edge/Blade/Calibur, SNK stuff, and Killer Instinct, but MK would be a good title to put on 3DS just for more variety in genres to the system.

WOOOOOW, thanks Capcom, i wait since summer 2010 for MHF3rd for PSP, and now? you make me buy a PSVita? i mean really? why the hell do you hate the european fans so much, the japan guys got their game; or do you like how tausends of european fans hack the psp, download the game, patch to their language, and don’t give a single cent for your game?… COME ON!
I think I’m going to pony up for the Vita. 3DS just gives me headaches.
I think that however this is done, the 3DS will get the cruddier version and the Vita will get a better MH title. Although I would like to fight in 3D…
Not sure how true this is, but have heard that this has been shelved. Will be a real shame if it is. Problem? – 3DS graphics perhaps?
