Nintendo has confirmed today’s rumour of a Nintendo 3DS conference taking place in Japan on September 13th. The trade show will focus on the Nintendo 3DS and will be held in Tokyo. Nintendo is also expected to show off a big new unannounced game for the 3D handheld. I wonder what it will be?

Call of Duty is an already announced game, and not owned by Nintendo, so it definitely won’t be what they’re going to announce.

I think all of you are forgetting that Nintendo said a while back that they were highly considering Majora’s Mask 3D!!
But that was maybe a month ago. How would they make a game that fast?
Maybe they might announce that they’ve decided to start development on the game.

Yes, but in this case, if this game is truly all it’s hyped up to be, another remake wouldn’t cut it. It’ll probably be an old series brought back such as Mother or an F-Zero (that’s what I’m thinking it is)

That’s wrong. Nintendo Announced Pokemon Black and White for the DS… Maybe the announcement will be Gen 6 because gamefreak promised us a big surprise later on in the year.

New System update to include youtube 3D and messaging system between 3DS. Its very likely to be that since Nintendo has been critisised on that issue. Also with 3D video and Netflix 3D youtube is a high posibility.
As for the games. Metroid Hunters 2. Pokemon red/blue in 3D (virtual console) and or other pokemon related game, SmashBro and wild guess golden eye 3D :)

Majora’s Mask was a great game and I’m sure a 3DS version will be great as well, but I’m hoping they’re not announcing it. I really want to see some original titles on the 3DS. Besides it’s too soon for MM. A new Metroid sounds very ideal :)

why do people think it’s a remake of majoras mask? it’s not gonna happen for a long time,this might be super smash bros related but seeing that the new ssb is on 2 platforms I say it’s metroid or Zelda related or a completely new title
nintendo said they want a new character and i hope its a an action, adcventure, rpg. but i hope it isnt majoras mask 3d, majoras mask sucked and it doesnt deserve a remake. i hope for a new pikmin or metroid or something thats not a remake even though there is only two ports now… i dont want more (besides tales of the abyss 3d)

I really hope they give us some kind of confirmation about Majora’s Mask 3D. I don’t want it released for a while, since there’s plenty of Zelda this year and I’m too busy to play it until summer anyway, but come on, Nintendo, just let us know and stop teasing us. I hope, though, that the big news is a NEW game, but I also hope that they’ll say “oh and btw Majora’s Mask will be coming to the 3DS you can stop emailing us about it now.”
It’s possible we could be seeing that game that was patented a few weeks ago, you know, the Massivly Single Player Online type of game.

Wow, after reading this article on various sites, there is extremely rampant speculation! Hate to say it, but it is most likely a 3DS pokemon (fingers crossed since that would be the best system-seller Nintendo could devise). Now, if I’m wrong, then it is a new Metroid or new IP entirely.
A “BIG RELEASE” Could once again mean an all-region Pokemon game. Of course, that’ll never happen. If not, maybe a Shadow Pokemon game on 3DS, or maybe a more advanced Mario All-Stars (Of course, they just had a port of that on the Wii.)

I’m going to try to calm everyone down by stating what it WON’T be:
a new Majora’s mask, Super Smash Bros 3D,Super Mario Sunshine 3D, Pikmin 3D.
The first 2 haven’t started development yet, the last 2 are just rumors which have never been comfirmed. It won’t be a new IP because Miyamoto said that the U was a good fit for them, but mentioned nothing of the 3DS. The most likely game would be an old series brought back, such as F-Zero (which would make excellent use of the 3D) or a Mother.
Probably F-Zero then as I doubt the mother series will be continued. Mother would be great though.

Maybe….the Kirby 64 remake we’ve all been waiting for. Let me explain:
There have been two Kirby remakes so far, Kirby:Nightmare In Dreamland and Kirby Super Star Ultra. Both of these games were remakes of games on home console systems. Also, the original Kirby games, both were the main one on their system, so:
Kirby’s Adventure=Main Kirby game for NES, remade for Game Boy Advance.
Kirby Super Star=Main Kirby game for SNES, remade for DS.
Kirby 64:The Crystal Shards=Main Kirby game for Nintendo 64, remade for 3DS?
See my suspicions? I’d love to see Kirby 64 remade and risen to its former glory!
Note:Some may argue that Kirby’s Dream Land 3 was the main Kirby game for SNES, but Super Star/Kirby’s Fun Pak sold more, so.
Other things they might show is more information on Animal Crossing 3DS or a new Mario game.
Or possibly, information on the Wii U or Kirby Wii/Return to Dreamland. Sorry for the over-long post.
seriously, i’d love another kirby game where you could combine abilities like that of 64.but i kinda doubt it’ll happen, especially since kirby uses multiple moves today, it’d be harder to integrate multiple abilities into all those moves.

Though I hope it;s news that they’ve finished Kid Icarus:Uprising because they said they wouldn’t start SSB 4 development till Kid Icarus 3DS was done. Also there is a lot of hints to a Capcom character appearing. If Mega-Man gets into SSB4, the series might be saved. But I’d also love Layton and Luke in it too. :)
the heck do you mean “the series might be saved”? the series is doing fine right now! it got tons of applause when it was announced at E3, and all 3 games in the series have been major nintendo system sellers! the series isn’t dying out at all, and i’m sure it’d still sell millions of copies even if it didn’t include another blue third-party character. sonic is enough for me :P
