Nintendo UK has announced that its working on the stock shortages surrounding Xenoblade Chronicles. Numerous retailers such as Amazon, Asda and Game have reported that they’ve run out of stock. Nintendo hopes to replenish stock as soon as possible. Let’s hope Nintendo of America takes notice.
“We are doing everything we can to get more stock of Xenoblade Chronicles into UK shops this autumn. We know how frustrating stock shortages can be for people, and we are disappointed when even one customer cannot get hold of one of our products.”

The entire North American continent can’t get hold on this product. Thanks Nintendo.
I dunno, I’m in North America and it only took me about a week after release date to get the game.
Thanks, Nintendo of Europe!
Will that work on my US console? What about region lock?
That’s right NoA. Take notice!
FEEL OUR PAIN EUROPE
This makes me laugh. Tons of games in the past have got released in the US but not Europe. Stop bloody moaning about it and import. It’s not Europe’s fault you didn’t get the game. Blame NoA and shut up.
Keep sippin that hatorade, Rusty.
I’m gonna keep moaning, and groaning about NoA.
I don’t think anybody is blaming Europe for anything. We know it’s not their fault or problem. At least, I know that Anonymous here shouldn’t be blaming Europe if that’s his/her intent.
I think we’ve been blaming NoA from the beginning, at least from what I know.
So what’s with all the Feel Our Pain Europe comments?
What makes me laugh the hardest is typical Americans thinking just because you are American it’s your God given right to get this game. It doesn’t work like that.
In all honesty I’m sick of hearing Yanks moan about it. It won’t help. There will NEVER be a NA release. Get over yourselves.
Wow… aren’t you the European douche…
Where do trolls originate? From Norse mythology. Where’s that? Scandinavia. In? Europe. Nuff said.
Touché!! I like your spunky attitude. We need to go out and get a drink one day! ;)
Oh, and as a NOA resident, what is with “Feel our pain Europe”? It doesn’t even make sense…
(wouldn’t both countries have to not recieve the game for one of them to feel the other’s pain?)
Not all of us US folks are arrogant! :) (well, maybe arrogant, but still loves our European Nintendo comrades)
FEEL OUR PAIN EUROPE
YES I AGREE. FEEL OUR PAIN EUROPE!
I still haven’t completed it yet.
Now you know how America feels.
Now you know how Europe feels for every other great game that isn’t released there.
FEEL OUR GOD DAMN PAIN!
I really love this game.
Just release this game in North America Nintendo or else it’s Game Over to American gamers :(
I didn’t know people in the Americas still cared for this game lol.
Not to be rude but… Are you blind?
I don’t think she is. Very few people actually cared about those games till Operation Rainfall, where a lot of people heard about it and I doubt even half of those people would buy the games, even if it was released here.
This exactly^
Pingback: Nintendo Reino Unido dice intentar solucionar el problema de stock de Xenoblade Chronicles
I certainly do hope NOA takes notice! :) And I also hope our waiting UK peeps get their mitts on this Wii goodness.
I have my copy! Thanks Nintendo! Love you! X

I never played this game but I want this game for the US so people have a chance to play it. I wanted Fatal Frame 4 here in the US but it’s only in Japan.
sup guys! Miami 305 reprezent! This game took me 50 hours plus to complete and I must say it rockz!
To all the people yelling “FEEL OUR PAIN”
EUROPE SUFFERED LIKE THIS FOR 3 GENERATIONS OF GAMES GODDAMNIT!
*sigh* sorry, it just makes me rage how ignorant some americans can be, or how skilled trolls they can be. Either way, it’s a negative
I sense that you’re feeling the pain.
Everyone can be ignorant. Not just Americans.
It’s not about ignorance, it’s about being jaded. American’s act as though they are being hard done to when Europe happens to get a few games they don’t for once, when the reverse is often VERY true and most American’s don’t care.
Of course I agree that it’d be wonderful if ALL good games could be released in a timely manner worldwide, but you often don’t see us Europeans say stuff like “FEEL OUR PAIN AMERICA” when they are short on games in their region.
Totally agree, well said.
were being jaded??? i hate to start an argument but personally i think your just being annoying…. we simply wanna play a really good game. if you dont like people talking about it dont pay attention to it. Were just trying to bring a good game our way… chill out dude.
Yes you are, and you’re playing right into his hand. Hardly anyone in America gave a crap about these games until a few people threw a bitch fit and called it an “operation.” NOA is a business and operates as such. How many of Rainfalls’s “supporters” will actually buy the game? It’s hard to say. Americans and Europeans buy different things. The fact that a product sells one place does not mean it will sell at another.
I would like to purchase and play this game and I’m all for global releases, but if NOA thinks the costs outweigh the projected profit, then they won’t release the game stateside. It’s logic. Europe was dicked for two decades when it came to game releases; they either got things really late or never at all. Yelling things like “FEEL OUR PAIN!” paints a rather negative image of you, American gamers, and Operation Rainfall and definitely makes you jaded.
I totally agree.
playing into his hand? HAHAHAHA thats the funniest thing ive heard all day… all im saying is god forbid that there are some gamers in a country your not even in (therefore has little to nothing to even do with you) that want to play a certain game so they try and localize it. you act like its some big deal. and i would actually agree with you guys that the people saying “Feel our pain Europe” are being dumb and annoying…. but you calling an entire country of gamers jaded cuz of like 10 peoples comments makes you just as annoying as them.
I’m an American, thanks, and I am calling everyone who yells “feel our pain” and/or spams Nintendo’s facebook feed with distasteful comments about Operation Rainfall jaded. That’s exactly how you Rainfall guys look when NOA’s facebook statuses are filled with “your games suck, bring Xenoblade to America.” It’s asinine and annoying.
I don’t mean to be going off on you specifically. I understand your plight, but you have to understand that Nintendo is a business. Rainfall is NOT a group of people who are vowing to purchase this game — it is a group of people rallying because they think they’re being served injustice. Most of its members are fighting for the wrong reasons, and this is what makes them jaded.
i was actually talkin to the other guy about the Europe thing. But yeah the people yelling feel our pain are being really dumb. I mean that doesnt even make sense so i understand why you would be annoyed by them. And anyone whos commented on Nintendos facebook saying your games suck are definatly not members of Operation Rainfall (If they are then their not much appreciated). I am apart of it and im sure there are plenty of people who are being jaded and are only members because they feel like they are being served injustice… but at the same time ive talked to alot of people there who genuinly just think it looks like a fun game and dont wanna softmod their wii… i realize people are gonna always have an opinion on the internet. but it annoys me when people say things about others as a whole… To be honest i know plenty of people who could care less about being served injustice. Xenoblade just looks like 1 of those games i would really enjoy playing.
Agreed! Europe had no Earthboud :(
Yeah, because most of JRPG core fans in the USA can’t wait for NOA to localize it, they imported. Then when NOA decide to release it over here, due to high sales over sea, their sales going to flunk, because everyone already their copy. If NOA are slow to react to the demand, the result is lost in profit……….
I was thinking the exact same thing. So really it’s American’s who may actually be the reason that European gamers can’t get the game, haha.
I’ve seen some remarks by Europeans saying that we don’t deserve these games because of Europe’s history of getting the short stick of localizations. What I think people should keep in mind is that two wrongs don’t make a right. It’s not fair the way Europeans (and Australians and South Americans) are treated when it comes to video game localizations, but the solution is not less for the “Imperial” Americans, but equal content for everyone.
But with Operation Rainfall we are effectively being asked to rally round and stand up for the American’s when they never stood by us while we were denied releases. The hard truth is, until it affected America, they didn’t care, and now the shoe is on the other foot and they don’t like it and they want everybody else to feel bad for them.
There seems to be a lot of bitter feelings from American’s as though we are somehow rubbing this in their faces. From what I’ve seen, we aren’t, but we can’t help but laugh at the irony.
The amount of games that haven’t been released in Europe and most American’s either didn’t know or didn’t care. Where were our “operations” demanding how unfair it was? It’s hardly “two wrongs don’t make a right” when this is one of the few, perhaps notable, releases American has never gotten while Europe has been denied MANY.
Strange how we are all given the impression that we should “band together for the benefit of gaming” when something affects the AMERICANS for once.
Please stop acting like there is some kind of level playing field here. You guys have a LONG way to go before you are being screwed to the degree Europe often is.
I would like it if we all just got the game instead of bitching back and forth about how Europe got dicked for so many years while Americans ignored them and now Americans desereve it. I like to think that gaming should bring us together instead of putting up walls between us, I am from Canada and I am quite sad to see no NA release date in sight but in the end if I want it enough I will import, that’s just how it works. Also NoA probably will not localize it for us because the WiiU will be coming out sometime after March 2012 and they probably don’t want to release games like that when the console is almost at the end of its lifespan
So Europeans are in the wrong for seeing the blatant irony in the situation? Read my response just above yours.
I could totally get behind gaming bringing us together, but it’s strange how the catalyst is America being denied a game for once and this desire for us to band together hasn’t happened previously when many times before Europe were the ones being screwed over. Funny that.
He said nothing about whether Europeans are wrong for what they are saying or anything of that sort at all. I guess you read between the lines on that one. He just wants everyone to get along and not fight about such petty things as who got which games and who didn’t. It’s in the past, this is the present and everyone can import if they really want the game that badly.
“instead of bitching back and forth about how Europe got dicked for so many years while Americans ignored them”
I guess I didn’t really have to “read between the lines” as you aptly put it. Please; if you going to be an apologist for someone at LEAST read the persons comment.
what he said had nothing to do with Europeans being wrong, which is what your statement implied. So I don’t see what I was missing.
He only said he wanted people to stop fighting back and forth, and you stating the irony of the situation is no better than ironic Americans.
I imported mine, broke my “no pirated software” rule by putting the homebrew channel/gecko on and have been playing the game ever since. LOVE. IT. The marketing execs at NoA have obviously not played through this game or they’d hand-deliver it to us door-to-door. It’s that awesome. It’s like what the FF series should’ve been when the PS2 and beyond came out. Not since Xenosaga III … well maybe Tales of Vesperia, has an RPG experience been so noteworthy.
