Nintendo: Nintendo Of America President Reveals His Favourite Game Of All-Time

Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime has told Games Blog that his favourite game of all-time is The Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past. Reggie also confessed to being a huge Zelda fan and he admitted that he’s been playing Skyward Sword avidly since E3.

What game are you most excited about?

Me personally? It’s like asking me which of my children do I love the most. I’m a huge Zelda fan — my favorite game of all time is Zelda: Link to the Past. One of the benefits of my job is that I get to play games in development. I have a special Wii in my office, and I’ve been playing Skyward Sword since E3 [in June]. I’m very much looking forward to that game.

  1. I really want to know what he means by ‘special Wii’. Can this thing run digital copies without reinstating discs, or on higher resolution/quality?

  2. Mine is majoras mask in first place, love the infinite mask, hearts sidequests. Next is OoT and in third place is assassins creed 2 or maybe bioshock

  3. Since he answered the question, they should have followed up with the question, “which of your children do you love most?”

      1. Seeing that Sickr is from England, it is correct for him. His target audience isn’t just Nintendo of America, nor is it just Nintendo of Europe.

  4. Imagine if he said, “Me? I’m a huge Modern Warfare fan — my favorite game of all time is CoD: Modern Warfare 3. My username is LNK2PST. Look me up.”

  5. Zelda 2 is the best Zelda game. Not sure why everyone loves LTTP, I played it and didn’t think it was the best one (and yes I did complete it 100%).

    1. I think it’s because Zelda II is too different from the original (I do love it, just not as much as the other games). Imo, it doesn’t really feel like the sequel of the first one (gameplay wise) more like a totally different game which is still cool but it’s only normal it wouldnt appeal to the same audience.
