Happy New Year everyone! It’s been a fantastic year for My Nintendo News so thanks to all those that have visited the site, left a comment or enjoyed the news stories. We’ve got plenty to be excited for next year with a large number of high-profile games for Nintendo 3DS as well as the launch of the Wii U. What are you looking forward to in 2012?

I agree, I’d take traditional controllers over motion controls any day of the week. It’s not a matter being lazy, it’s just a matter of having a different preference.

– F-zero U/3D
– Metroid U
– Super Mario Sunshine 2 (3DS)
Yeah, some of them are highly unlikely but one can always dream, right?
I don’t think F-Zero will be released this year.
Metroid has a chance and SMS may be next year as nintendo makes people know a year forward.

This blog is full of fool people. I can’t take it anymore “NINTENDO 4 LIFE, BITCH”! Happy new year!
As much as I’m looking forward to the Wii U, I don’t think I’ll be able to purchase it day one. So, I’ll just put that thought away for now. One thing I’m looking for is another name for the Wii U, no offense, but Wii U is kind of strange to say, and then Wii U Games… I’m expecting a name change. Like the Nintendo Revolution was changed to Wii. Name predictions… I got none. So what I’m looking forward to is the rise of the 3ds. 2011 was a slow year for the 3ds, it didn’t have features it was going to when it launched, the best games didn’t come until the end of the year… But in 2012 we’re going to get Kid Icarus Uprising, Resident Evil Revelations, Metal Gear Solid 3d Snake Eater, Paper Mario, Animal Crossing, *MAYBE* Zelda 3ds *MAYBE*, just so many triple “A” games coming out for the 3ds. But there is another thing I’m wishing for. Retro Studies are working on a game for Wii U, they said it’s not DK or Metroid… Imagine a Star Fox game from Retro Studios, it would be Bad Ass. Oh and there’s Pikmin 3 coming out… Let’s not forget Lego Cities! (or is it stories) THAT LAUNCH GAME IS GOING TO BE BEASTLY! *sarcasm*

The name was already changed, from Project Cafe to Wii U. But if it were to be changed (again) I would name it the Nintendo Pad, cause of the Controller.
“Project Cafe” is to the “Wii U”, as “Nintendo Revolution” is to the “Wii”

im not scared about ps4, sony doesnt have money to whip out another ps3 equivalent :P ps3 fail and vita fail have left them seriously screwed :P theyre gonna go casual next gen to try and get sales numbers like the wii (dunno if they will succeed or not). its microsoft that are worrying me, they have some almost infinite bank account :( i dont want them to whip out a console as good as wii u and then sell it insanely cheap at a loss just to create a monopoly like douchefags

Happy new year sickr! i just wanna thank youfor keeping us all posted on all the latest from that greatest of all developers, nintendo. i’m most looking forward to luigi’s mansion 2(about fuckin time!) kid icarus, and paper mario. also the wii u. and nintendo pad would be a great name for it.
Looking forward to E3, the launch of Wii U, and Paper Mario for 3DS.
Animal Crossing 3DS!! Wish Nintendo would tell us when AC is coming already. Also looking forward to Paper Mario 3DS. Still not sure about Wii U. Hoping that Nintendo blows us away at E3 w/ WIIU & 3DS.
In 2012, this what I would love to see (as follows) —
1) Capcom’s release of Resident Evil: Revelations for Nintendo 3DS
2) Nintendo’s release of Kid Icarus: Uprising for the 3DS
3) This June’s Nintendo Press Conference at E3 and the true power of Wii U
4) Late Fall/Early Winter’s release of the Wii U and its games
And when I get the Wii U, these are some of the games I want to get–
* Batman: Arkham City
* Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Online
* Darksiders 2
* Madden NFL 13
* Ninja Gaiden III
* Tekken: Wii Successor
* New Super Mario Bros. Mii
And let’s not forget about online interface from either EA’s Origin or Valve’s Steam… but I’d rather have both so the consumers can choose which one to prefer.

I’m looking forward to the Wii U, Kid Icarus Uprising, Paper Mario, Animal Crossing, Luigi’s Mansion 2, and E3 in general. Remember, the final model of the Wii U is going to be at E3 this year. That means that they have to announce some new games. Hopefully they’ll FINALLY put a trailer out for Pikmin 3.
