Connect To 5,000 Free Wi-Fi Hotspots In Europe, Including McDonald’s, Burger King, KFC, Subway

Nintendo Europe has announced via a press release that European Nintendo 3DS owners will have free access to over 5,000 Wi-Fi hotspots across 21 European countries. Your Nintendo 3DS will automatically connect to free-hotspot.com’s network in many of the biggest fast food restaurants and leading hotel chains across Europe including McDonald’s, Burger King, KFC, Subway, Ibis Hotels and Etap Hotels.

“With such an extensive European-wide Wi-Fi access network, partnering with free-hotspot.com made absolute sense. The access points are largely located in popular restaurants and hotels – places where Nintendo 3DS owners are likely to want, and to unwind in. We also urge all Nintendo 3DS owners to also take advantage of the latest System Update which has brought an array of new features and enhancements, including 3D video capture.”

        1. :o I hope so! The Wii U is coming this year, and Kid Icarus Uprising, Paper Mario 3DS, Luigi’s Mansion 2….the only thing we’re missing is a new Zelda…and a new Star Fox…and a new F-Zero…and a lot of other things :/

  1. Nice to see Nintendo supports fastfood, lol…. play video games and eat fat :P

I think it would be great if they had an agreement with some healthy places too. It would encourage youngsters to go and eat healthy since they’d be able to enjoy NintendoZone, which you cannot have at home. Anyone agrees?
