GTA V To Release In October?

Rockstar character animator Alex O’Dwyer has put down an October 2012 release for Grand Theft Auto V on his private Linked In account. Rockstar and publisher Take Two have yet to confirm when we will be seeing the game, or which platforms the long-awaited title will eventually be coming to. We should hopefully hear more about GTA V at E3 in June.

    1. The game is coming out this year. The WiiU is basically the same as current gen consoles. The fact that the WiiU is “weak” compared to unannounced technology for consoles that are over a year away has no impact on how this game will run on the WiiU.

      1. Re: Matt C, “The game is comin out this year.” No, it’s not. It’s coming out next spring. Like all major Rockstar games do nowadays.

      2. Re: Matt C. “The game is coming out this year.” No, it’s not. It’s coming out spring 2013. Rockstar like to release games in the spring as there’s not much major competition and it’s worked well for them the past four years.

        1. That may be so but I was simply judging based on this report stating October. The point is, “weak” WiiU specs will have absolutely no impact on the game because at that time, even in the spring, there will be nothing to compare it to besides the 360, PS3, and PC. The WiiU should be on par with those platforms. The PC version will obviously be the most powerful version but the WiiU version (if there is one) will be equally as good, if not better, than the 360 and PS3 versions. This is just my personal prediction and what makes the most logical sense.

You must capitalize “weak,” place an apostrophe in “won’t” and add some sort of punctuation at the end of the sentence.

    1. no, but most Nintendo made and owned franchises are kid friendly, not to say that they are casual games at all, try beating zelda 2 and tell me it was easier than modern warfare 3

  1. Even if this does come out on the Wii Uas well I’ll still probably get it for the PS3 just because i’ve always played GTA games on Play Station ever since GTA III. It would just feel weird to play it on a different console lol.

    1. Try it out on a diffrent console.

You know, it gets old playing on the same console over and over again.

    2. I see what you mean, don’t listen to the first two. I’d probably get it on the 360 since I’ve only played GTA games with and Xbox/Xbox 360 controller.

      1. Pffft. Pg Dn button is not your friend. Took me about .2 of a second to get to the end of your inane crap. How long did it take you to put it there?
It might be time to invest in a blow up doll to occupy your time.

  2. Damn it, scroll troll! Your time has come! I shall defeat you with the power of the Triforce and release the Kingdom of MyNintendoNews from your evil for ever!

  3. There’s no reason they wouldn’t put it on Wii U. The controller could be like a smart phone, GPS, or inventory screen.

Your sentence should look like this: “I didn’t join because that would be some stupid waste of somebody’s time.” That last part is quite incomprehensible to me. You should consider signing in to our organization. We will help you learn the basics of grammar fundamentals.

          1. “the basics of grammar fundamentals”
Redundant much? ‘Fundamentals’ in this context denotes basics. You may have grammar down, but your syntax could use some work.

  4. hopefully there is a mode to allow you to play the classic way that was in the first gta and hopefully its out early next year so they have time to flush out all the bugs.
