EA has revealed that it is supporting that Wii U and that its immensely popular Fifa and Madden brands will be coming to the console. We already know that EA is bringing Mass Effect 3 to the console, but it’s good to hear that two of its biggest sports franchise will also grace Wii U.

So why are we only hearing about this days after? Ok, it was kinda obvious that the games would come out on the console, but why did they not mention/show that they’d be released during the conference?

I do kinda wish newer software were coming from EA. However, it’s EA so I’m not shocked and mass effect is a welcome addition.

Yea they did the same thing for the vita games. They stealth announced them. Too busy with the 360 and ps3 to care about anything else….

madden and fifa are cool but im mostly concerned with if they are going to bring the new revised nbalive13 to wiiU…ive been a live fan since elm school and now that its coming back after a 2 year hiatus i have to have it
I see. There’s a rumor right now that Nintendo will hold a Summer conference with the big guys such as Activision, EA, Capcom, etc. Apparently Nintendo didn’t want to discuss much outside of what was shown. There’s still an NDA on games outside the launch of the system. It would explain why they showed only a few games and some third party support. I’m cautiously optimistic.
I hope that rumor is true. Nintendo needs to hold a Summer conference of their own and lift the NDA crap once and for all. Lack of showing more hardcore titles have the entire fans turn their back on the company. Iwata-san and Fils-Aime needs to lift the NDA clause and get back into the game!
