F1 Race Stars: Powered Up Edition Slides Into Gear On The Wii U eShop Today

F1 Race Stars: Powered Up Edition has taken the digital road and rocketed into the Wii U eShop today for both North America and Europe. The racing title, which was initially planned as a retail release, features four extra tracks and nine additional accessory packs, along with tilt controls for the GamePad.

The above trailer showcases some of the game’s themed tracks and mini, cartoon Formula One drivers such as Sebastian Vettel and Lewis Hamilton. F1 Race Stars: Powered Up Edition can be downloaded for $29.99/£19.99 in the eShop. Let us know if you’ll be racing in the driver’s seat in the comments below.

  1. It seems like a fun game. I think that launching it on the Eshop can actually help it sell better than if it was on retail. I´ll eventually buy this one.

    1. It looks good, but I cannot justify buying it for £17 as it I can see myself not playing it very much. If it comes down in price I might get it.

      I’ll wait for MK8 and Project CARS.

      1. That’s great that you would rather play with family and friends, but most would rather play online. Games that have multiplayer should undoubtedly have online multiplayer as well… There is no logical reason not to include online multiplayer unless you are incompetent.

  3. Just letting you know that it’s god awful. It was free for ps+ members a while back. If Nintendo is in such a bad situation, why do they keep putting these shovelware titles on their console?

    1. because they have to pay Nintendo to put the game on the system, plus at least it’s not as bad as the games Microsoft let’s on to xbox live, I don’t even think Microsoft even pay attention to what indies put on their system, you have to pay so many fees to get your game on xbox live that Microsoft just let’s any to do it, it gives them so much money
