Ubisoft have taken to their official blog to proclaim that Watch Dogs has sold more copies in 24 hours than any other Ubisoft title in the company’s history. Ubisoft’s co-founder and CEO Yves Guillemot says that the game is an amazing achievement for the company. We’ve yet to find out when Wii U owners will get the game.

Impressive! The game only looks all right, but good enough. I doubt that I’ll be purchasing it, but maybe if they make a spinoff for the Wii U…then I would consider it

Why are you so bitter. This is our last big title from Ubisoft they supported us through the good and the bad. We should support them because no other company has brought so many titles to the Wii U. I bought almost everything single title from Ubisoft and I cant lie there a good company especially when the Wii U sales are not always so good on their profit margins they weren’t like other companies that disappeared which I pretty sure you know yourself. Come on Bob your better than that.

I agree, ubisoft tried Wii U in my view, made us wait for others for rayman and made us wait for watchdogs while others have it. I got watchdogs on PS4, it isn’t special but Wii U can use an open world game. Just sad with no dlc and poor support ubisoft should do what Tecmo is doing and make a game with nintendo for the console.

Is not there fault it due poor sales and Ubisoft I don’t blame them. If you own Ubisoft and had to pay extra for the team to put the game on the Wii U along with physical copy packaging and shipping to different part of the world to appeal to Wii U owners. You will have to turn around to investors and say that all the Wii U games didn’t sell which you all invested your money in but lets give them another chance with other titles. Now because they delayed it to try generate more interest everyone wants to boycott the game they got the Romanian team to work to make it specifically for the Wii U which hardly any other developer has every done except stick a interactive map except the first batman arkham city on the Wii U not origins and splinter cell blacklist which were both two very good games. Ubisoft I cant lie has done a poor job with the release to other platforms but hopefully we get the better version because all the bugs wont effect us. Capcom there pretty awesome with Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate and Resident evil on the 3ds and Wii U really good game.

Funny, and quite sad, thing is… Ubisoft is actually responsible for some of the bad. Delaying Rayman Legends, which was complete, during a time when there weren’t many games for Wii U for a later release date. They then repeat that same action with Watch_Dogs for Wii U, minus the complete part.
Then they released it the same week as GTA5 and got no money, I guess it serves them right for delaying it in the first place
Selling a couple thousand copies out of millions of unsold copies means the money they got back doesn’t even make up for what they lost, so they ultimately didn’t make any money. With that said, you’re right to say they got no money for their troubles.
Honestly never had any interest in this game at all, not sure what everyone sees in it. It doesn’t look entertaining to me at all, but I guess that’s just my opinion. Too many people just jumping on the hype train…

Typical Ubisoft. Glad I cancelled my 2 preorders of Watch Dogs way back and got myself Mario Kart 8 and WinderWaker HD Limited Edition instead :) My favourite Ubisoft games so far are Red Steel 1 & 2 and Splinter Cell Blacklist which is just an awesome game!

I liked zombi u at first and then i got bored of it. I loved red steel 2, but overall, i thought one was better. i preferred the visuals and the story. Story was great and a lot of fun! :)

The game is broken not doubt about it. It not like ubisoft to bring a game so bad the mechanics and all are fine but falling through the floor and wall certainly set it apart from the GTA 5. The thing about this is they had a delay Watchdogs to make sure everything is polished and ensure things should run smooth. I can understand and fully respect that people may not want this game on the Wii U after watching the clip above along with hard times to cash out 60 dollars but in my case 50 pounds which is like 86 dollars or something. I feel that Ubisoft will address this issue but everyone I think should be able to get their money back I know under the UK law right to the consumers if you buy a product that not working you can get your money back or you can replace for another game for the full value of watchdogs.
Throughout my 4 play throughs of watch dogs this never happened to me once. What console is this on ??? I played mine on xbox one it it was great. I don’t see why people dislike it.

From everything I’ve read on Metacritic, WiiU owners should feel lucky. It looks to have a ton of bugs and glitches.
When the WiiU version is released, it will likely be like Mass Effect 3 – cleaned up and the best version. I for one am glad they let the Sony and Microsoft folks test drive it. I wouldn’t want the current version on WiiU, but I will take the better version. (in terms of game play and stability, not graphics)

In fairness now Wii Sports U is a rehash and a really bad one. Same could be said of Wii Fit U and I know it’s updated graphics but Wind Waker HD. They have taken an awful lot of lazy shortcuts.
i agree. wii sports U is a horrid upgrade. Empty features with the club stuff. Tons of errors and big ones, like quit at the last second and the match doesn’t count. The computer players are unbeatable for most people.

we are NOT scared, most people can’t stand the fact that ubisoft practically skipped the wii u version and look what they did with rayman legends, they delayed it so it can be released in all consoles, so are we scared, no we aren’t, also they were marketing watch dogs as the “game of the century” and guess what? it’s not a critically acclaimed game.
Since they’ve been hyping the game for over a year, I’d be surprised if it didn’t break records.

Unfortunatley it was all the hype, it didn’t live up to the game, I got it on Steam and I really regret it, it has a lot of issues with key factors, controls on PC are TERRIBLE, so many issues.

Ubisoft refuses to give up uPlay, a redundant, buggy service. (Seriously, why buy a game through Steam, to launch through uPlay?)
Watch Dogs is buggy on PC ALOT. Partially because of a dumb deal to be mostly exclusive towards nVidia GPU chips.
I played all the way through Assassin’s Creed III and IV, and never knew what uPlay was?

I see no confirmed numbers, no nothing. This could mean it did better but not what everybody thinks. It probably only did slightly better than Rayman Legends after Ubisoft fucked its launch by releaaing it close to GTA5 and lost those sales to them.
