A new Nintendo Minute episode has gone live. The latest installment in the ongoing YouTube series focuses on Hyrule Warriors, which is available in stores and on the Nintendo eShop for Wii U. It also talks about the NES Edition Nintendo 3DS XL, which is now on sale exclusively at GameStop stores for $199.99. Modeled after the NES controller, the special-edition hardware features a box that looks like an NES system.
Nintendo Minute Talks About Hyrule Warriors, NES Edition 3DS XL

Whoa, for a second there I thought it was Hyrule Warriors: NES Edition!
NES edition would have been better if it was the New 3DS model instead
I have the NES Edition 3DS XL.
YAY FOR ME!
That NES 3DS XL makes me drool every time, the collector’s value of that thing reminds me of how much of a treasure it is.
Agreed, such a valuable piece of tech
Trash* there fixed it for ya
Haha, no my friend, if it was trash, it would be the PSVita, I mean tech of course, but thanks for your attempt at correcting me :)
Hi hater, glad you could make it out tonight
The design is a complete waste of potential. Compare that to the NES GBA SP design and you’ll see what I mean.
NOOOO! Don’t talk about the NES Edition GBA SP. I missed out on that back in the day. It saddens me.
That’s precisely why I HAD TO buy this. Not only because of knowing that the value will go way up in time, but because the NES will always be my favorite console.
I wonder if the Pikachu edition 3DS XL will go up in value in time? That one was never released ANYWHERE around where I live (that I’m aware of), except Target. And even then, they only had maybe 4 in stock, which was still behind their counter on the day it was released. And my brother rushed there and bought all 4 of them. To this day, I have never seen a Pikachu 3DS XL at any store. Talk about rare.
I have one, still factory sealed and all.
Happy Happy Village disowns this design. Although this will surely boost sales for the console among the unaware, and Nintendo shall continue to dominate the handheld space too.
Clever clearance tactic for old hardware. Just like the clear case one.
