Here’s A Five Minute Look At Sonic Boom On The Nintendo 3DS

Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal is out soon for the Nintendo 3DS and thankfully we’ve got some more gameplay footage for those on the fence about the Nintendo 3DS version of the game. GameXplain recently got to test out a new tropical themed level which showcases the 2D platforming action on offer. Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal is out on November 11th.

Thanks, White Eagle

  1. Maaaan that is a slow paced “sonic” game… Without a doubt, there is no way I will be buying (/playing) this game… Count on it.

  2. lord ghost : king of the federation

even worst that sonic lost worlds. the problem of sonic lost worlds was the controls. it killed the game completely to the point where the stages became damm too impossible to complete.

    1. The worst part is how there’s a run button. A run button in a Sonic game. It would’ve played a lot better is Sonic controlled like in SA1/2.

  3. Remember how some games in the 80s/90s would be rebranded outside of Japan like SMB2, Decap Attack, Pac-In-Time, Dr. Robotnik’s Mean Bean Machine, and Kirby’s Avalanche? That’s the same vibe Sonic Boom gives me. It looks like it could be it’s own game, but just with Sonic characters slapped on to it.

  4. Guys, give it a chance, this is basically a spiritual sequel to the 3d rayman games which some people have always been waiting for. And given the fact how badly sonic games are made nowadays by the sonic team you should be grateful a third party got their clutches on the franchise to make a spinoff.

Spinoffs are a good way to introduce new people to a franchise either way.
