Crystal Red & Blue 2DS Models Will Launch November 21 In North America

Nintendo of America has revealed the transparent red and blue 2DS designs will launch alongside the latest Pokemon games come November 21. Previously only available to European consumers, collectors and children alike in North America will now be able to purchase either of the two consoles at a suggested retail price of $99.99 US dollars.

Unlike Europe, the transparent red and blue 2DS consoles – known more eloquently as Crystal Red and Crystal Blue in North America – will not be released as a bundle with Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, rather you’ll have to purchase the game separately. Both red and blue transparent 2DS models are currently available to purchase separately in Europe.
