Piplup And Froakie Arrive In Japan This Weekend During Special Pokemon ORAS Distribution Event

Nintendo of Japan are set to host a special distribution event this weekend for Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. As a fond farewell to the Pokemon Center in Tokyo and on behalf of the grand opening of the new Pokemon Center Mega Tokyo, Generation IV starter Piplup and Generation VI starter Froakie will be distributed. Available only through the Pokemon Center in Tokyo, fans and collectors will be able to download a level 7 Piplup on Saturday, December 6, while a level 7 Froakie will be up for grabs on Sunday, December 7.

There’s no word on whether we’ll see any similar events overseas, however. But if you’ve yet to download your Shiny Beldum in North America and Europe you can still do so until January 14, 2015, via the in-game mystery gift option on the Nintendo Network.
